Our Story
That Eureka Moment
Marvin loves taking photos while Meme likes all things unique. While preparing for their wedding, they had a hard time finding unique and personalized souvenirs for their guests. Out of this frustration came the Eureka (!) moment: Why not come up with personalized photo souvenirs that are done on the spot which guests can immediately claim before they leave?
Birth
A few months later, Konsepto was born and pioneered what was to be a new industry for the events market – on the spot or onsite photo souvenirs. Konsepto specialized on event studio setups (Studio for Fun) with professional photographers and a creative team dedicated to producing on the spot photo magnets, photo bagtags and other photo novelties for guests. Word spread fast and Konsepto soon became an instant hit for parties and events.
Rebirth
In 2006, inspired by the success of Konsepto and as a response to client requests and feedback, Konsepto was reborn as Fotoloco, the first, fast and fun photo booth. Fotoloco soon became a most requested item for every fun party and celebration and has since been featured in several television shows, magazines and publications. Today, Marvin, Meme and the rest of the Fotoloco team spend their days looking for ways on how to make more fun things with photos.
